Just found out a couple hours ago that I’m shooting a project in southern Oregon this Friday. Heard some great things about the Williamson and the fishies therein. Thinking road trip. Can anyone give me some intel on guides, etc. and/or any IA type locals willing to ‘hook up’ for float-fish-photo excursion this weekend? I’m willing to pay a nights hotel and any other expenses for the day + beer 😀

My assistant (who also fishes) and I will be arriving Wed night or Thurs morning. The shoot’s on Friday in Malin, OR. Then we’re open/willing to stay thru the holiday weekend to fish and explore. We’ll have our own ground transpo. Feel free to e-mail or pm me in you’d rather.

I used to work with Chris Renzullo, and he has since moved out to that area.  I haven’t been in touch with him for years, but he’s a great dude and an outstanding guide.  I believe he now guides on the Williamson, Klamath, and other rivers in that area.  Here are some links with a bio and contact info:
