Hey guys –
I interviewed T&T’s new owner Mark Richens last night and found him to be a really great guy. I think that company is about to get its feet back under it. I want you to tune in to the interview but he gave me some breaking news as well and I want to be sure it’s out there:
(1) Mark has reached an agreement with longtime designer Tom Dorsey for Tom to come back on board in a design and mentoring role.
(2) T&T will remain in America and in fact now owns its own facilities.
(3) It will honor all outstanding warranties.
(4) They anticipate refreshing the lineup for, in some cases, the first time in years, with some new products to be shown at the Retailer Show in New Orleans this August.
(5) T&T will be attending the Retailer Show.
(6) Mark’s background was in marketing so look for T&T to join the 21st century with a new website, social media, etc.
As you’ll hear from Mark, the main focus in the immediate term will be on revamping the ordering system so that shop orders get filled and out the door promptly. This can be really critical for any small business and they know it’s been a problem. All good things. I look forward to seeing T&T back in the saddle.
