I enjoyed our nice warm weekend quail hunting in south west Georgia at Big Red Pine Plantation. I will apologize in advance for not having the will power to put my gun down and snap more action or scenery shots. Here are the few that I managed to snap at the day’s close

We had lots of opportunities and capitalized on most of them

Our dogs were eager and obedient for the most part. We hunted two German Short Hairs and one Brittany that were owned and trained by our guide, Mark. The Brittney, “Buck” was an excellent point and retriever, but the the GSP’s “Belle” & “Ace” had the noses that ultimately led to a successful day. Watching a dedicated hunting dog do what he has been bred to do is an incredible sight that to me is as fun as the shot.

Obligatory group shot, I guess you can tell which one of us is not related
