I am working out this fly tying video thing out; right now I’m tying with the camera in my lap and thus in the way.  I’ll figure it out, and in the mean time this will at least be better than the one I had up here before.

What about one of those headgear mounted cameras that the action sports crowd uses?

Or possibly an overhead shot with the vice rotated 90* off of vertical and paralell to the lens.

In looking at other tying video on the net, I think I’m going to have to wear a dark shirt and have the camera face me.

There is a commercial, sort of well known tier i know, he put out some DVD’s and I THINK, he had a pretty high tri-pod and it was sort of over the shoulder, but zoomed in, something like that, I’d have to shoot him a email and ask, but i know he had a DVD he put out, so I’m sure he might have a tip or two so to speak.

The dark shirt idea is a pretty good one, i’ve seen that before i believe…
