I spent a few months in New Zealand. While there, I acquired a Kilwell fibre glass blank. I brought it home and gave it to good buddy of mine. This is what he has done to it πŸ™‚

Thanks Cameron. Truth is, I haven’t actually fished it yet.
I will be fishing it this coming weekend though, so I’ll let you know how she gets on….

    Hi Cameron
If you want one there’s always a few laying around on the web down here.
Daryl, thats pretty tricked out! πŸ™‚
I learnt on a kilwell customline and then got a blue glass rod called a robin hood.
There are not many 8ft glass rods that I see but plenty in the 8’6 – 9ft range.

Yeah, the 8ft blanks are not too common.

I picked this one up on Trademe πŸ™‚

    Thanks πŸ™‚

Yeah, its the Fuji graphite reel seat.
Could be a spin seat, not sure, but it works well anyway πŸ™‚
