If your willing to drive that far I think you need to fish the Green River. If your looking for short half day trips or places closer to town e mail me or Curtis Fry (if he’s willing), We both live in that area and could give some advise.

The green is what I’m thinking. It looks amazing. I appreciate the info. I’ll shoot you a message.

    Thanks,

Guys, there’s an outside chance i have to go to Salt Lake City in September for work.  It seems to me there is a lot of trout water out that way so if i had a chance to go fishing for a day, where would you go?

I would rent a car and would be willing to drive 4 to 5 hours still have a day to fish.

    Thoughts?

Heart Lake up near Coalville, its Wyoming but good opportunity for a grand slam.

Maybe just my personal preference, but if it were me, I’d probably opt for other water in Sept.

Curtis, is that b/c of crowds? I was really leaning toward it as it’s supposed to be spectacular and I’m not sure when I’ll get out that way again.

Also, it would seem there is really no need for a guide there?
