I’m going to be in Florida for a few days next week and I’m thinking of taking a quick trip down to Islamorada or there abouts.

As a matter of fact, I will be arriving tomorrow in Islamorada to fish.

I plan on living forever, so far so good.

Jason, I’m glad you mentioned the Key lantern I just came across it in my search and was a bit skeptical. Thanks for the tip on unit 7. The Islander would be nice if it was in the budget.

I cant remember the exact name but there is a place right next to the water park where they have dolphin shows. I think it is the Pelican something or another, kinda of a square building on the left side of the road as you are entering Islamorada.

    Good luck down there!

Thanks for the tip on the Key Lantern, that’s real cheap!

I also have stayed at the Key Lantern. Best place to sleep on the cheap for sure. Jason is right, the AC there is rock solid!

I always stay at the Breezy Palms, a.k.a. the Sleazy Breezy… Usually a little over a hundred bucks a night. Right down the road from Bud N’ Mary’s. Never had anything but a good experience.

We made the trip down, only 2 hours from our place in Fort Lauderdale. I did stop in at the Key Lantern and the spousal unit did say it would be fine to stay there we opted to drive back home instead after spending the evening at Morada Bay. I also stopped at Worldwide Sportsmen and was a bit disappointed. Hopefully all will work out and we can have an extended trip later in the summer.
    Thanks for all the help.
