Dirt roads lead to trout…

Over the weekend I returned to a favorite stretch of stream that I have not fished for a while. It requires a nice hike along a restricted access dirt road. While heading for the water, it reminded me of how nice it was to fish off of the beaten path. Often, due to my schedule, I can’t go fish for a whole day, and tend to hit spots on the river that are closer to society, which is fine. However, there is nothing like walking into an area where you don’t see another person.
that brown’s left pec fin is quite transparent.
wish i had time to get off the beaten path this week while out there. rental cars + dirt roads = >:(
