    Nice!  Love that turtle pic.  My cousin and I caught one smaller than that as children and dragged it home with a hoe handle.  You just stick the handle in its face and wait for it to clamp on, then drag away.  However, it did bite through the handle at least once on the way home.

    Two questions:
    1.   On what river were you catching the smallmouth?
    2.    Have the smallies started to push the minnows on to the banks?

    Lower Holston
    Smallies are clustered, but not abundant in their usual haunts.
