MemberSo, Mr. Otto came back for more Utah punishment .. A different tiger, a little tequila, and some killer mexi-surf tunes.
“A” arrived Thursday night, we had some grub and a couple beers @ Dougs place. Talked fishing, photos, and drove then up to see if the browns would come out to play … They are close but, no dice.
Welcome!

Friday .. Game on! Not your mother’s 3wt.

Strip … Strip … Strip …

These bad boys have sharp teeth! A few lost flies and finally … The Reward : Day One

Day Two : Cast #2 …. That looks BIG

It is!

Who needs a food shot when you have cervezas y tequila? Thanks for the flies Lee! They will continue to be used!

Oh yeah .. I got a fish too! Hopefully, someone will post a pic of that!
Doug was kind enough to hook-us-up with accommodations on a private spring creek and some mouse fishing that night was on the agenda … I think Aaron and maybe Doug have a couple of pics.
Last day … Sunday … Was good for the soul …
Looking for bugs and the fish that eat them!

Salmonfly found!

Cicada found!

Fish that eat them, found!

MemberYou boys are out of control…love it!
Did they work?
Jun 2, 2009 at 1:16 am #36666lee church
MemberDid Doug fish or did you hire him to row all day?

MemberThey were workin’ Lee … Lots of follows! The flies we were using were quite a bit smaller than the BIG flies that I got from Brad. I ended up sticking my fish on one of Doug’s rods and flies. LOL. Doug did a lot of rowing (which was very nice of him), but he got a fish too. 😉 Next year … My ‘toon will have a standing platform!

MemberSo following that is pretty tough. My friend CK, can put it down like nobody’s business. As always had a fun time with senior Kruit-Bomb traveling around Mormanville.
What can a guy say, night fishing with mice, a duel cicada salmon fly hatch on the creek of Manifestos, topped off with the el Tigre!
All I can say is: Like the rest of those here who actually tolerate fishing with me , it’s sincerely my privilege: As it is with my friends Corey and Doug. Company kept is the finest compliment I can think of and it would be tough to find two finer gents.
So back to my usual sarcastic self. It started way back in history, with three fine fellows Corey-K,

A and
Dougy-BEE

During the Day we……you guessed it….

Sorry Corey, My DOF was F-d up on all the shots of your fish. I didn’t do you or this fish justice here, but as good as I got. My fault.

Afternoons we lounged. It was hot, hot is bad to fish in.

We will have to do a follow up with the night shots because I took them on Corey’s camera and having some tech difficulties downloading ftp files. So more to come there.
Anyways, more of Mormantown (Musky) USA.
I would like to introduce the inside book cover flap for Corey’s first book on photography and the new darkroom.

I think the sheriff was after his daughter because these salmon flies did it like this and like….

This cicada was a serious perv for his age and sat close by watching.

The many faces of my friend Corey:
Morning Corey..all elusive and sub-surface like

Mid-Morning Corey… Slightly diffused

Daytime Corey- slowing it down

Night time -Corey with kung-fu Grip

In the end we were just three guys; fishing for
Good fish

On Lakes

and rivers

with Big Bugs.

Despite all the above we found what we were looking for, just plain-old good times.Jun 2, 2009 at 3:53 am #36675lee church
