    It sadens me to report that James Birkholm of Fly Anglers Online passed away suddenly earlier this week.

    Condolences may be left on the FAOL Board.

    I will say this: Jim Birkholm was the Daniel Boone of fly fishing websites.

    Never got to meet JC….but like many I think I got to know a little bit about him through FAOL especially his articles….and he will be missed…my thoughts and prayers go out to Deanna and the whole FAOL extended family
