    My new favorite form of carp fishing. I’ve been working on my tactics and have them down pretty good. I went 2 for 5 today. It is pretty awesome to watch a carp chase a fly down on the swing.

    Maybe next year, Rio will come out with a Spey Carp Line.  😉

    Nice fish Mike, is the XXX Shore heating up yet?  Or is it still a bit early?

    Lake Michigan water temps in shore are about 40 right now, I am heading out this afternoon to look for browns.

    Nice going! I’ve been out a bunch so far as well lately and sidetracked this weekend due to 15″ new snow in Denver!

    Tim,

    Not yet, I saw maybe twenty fish, but no schools along the shore line. I’m saying 2 weeks, I’ll keep you posted.

    Water temp was 44, it was a bit on the cold side when I was wading.

    I may have to make a trip down there in about 3 weeks.
