These are not my rods but belong to a friend of mine, I have them here for sale and will handle the transaction for him. If you want a 9’3 pc FE Thomas rod and missed the Dirigo Carmine Lisella had in his latest catalog for $500 then grab this 9′ 3/2 Browntone for $550 shipped and insured. My friends grandfather owned 8 Thomas rods and several were the same length and model and we believe somewhere along the way one of the tips got bagged in the wrong tube (see photos) as it’s a little darker than the other 3 section but everything about it is the same save the color, i.e. ferrule fit, snake stations and action are exact, a full length 3/2 Browntone for a 7 wt slightly slower than medium action with original bag, no tag, and Thomas brass capped tube….
The second rod is from AJ Thramer one of his hollowbuilt series rods, a Para 15 with wet and dry fly tips marked as such so 5/6 wt lines just like Paul Young made it. Rod has seen light use with only sign being the wraps at the ferrules show, comes with original bag with tag and labeled Thramer tube, $1050 shipped and insured.
