This weekend, me and some of my buds from down here in Auburn are planning on going up to North Georgia to camp out and fish. About a year ago I camped and fished Boggs Creek, Dicks Creek, and Waters Creek around Dahlonega. Boggs and Dicks had just been stocked with some sickly looking small rainbows, but Waters had some beautiful stocked trophy brooks and bows. I am looking to get some opinions on where I should take the boys. I have heard good things about the Conasauga. Which section has the best fishing with the most convenient camp sites? Is camping in these areas limited to designated areas? Zach has recommended Noontoola creek to me in the past, but the fishing seems good only for those who know what they are doing–and I certainly have close to no experience up in small streams and creeks.
Thanks fellas
Jay
*After doing a little more research I’m finding that people have been having success at Dukes Creek. Anyone familiar with this creek?
