Joel ThompsonMemberI know that most of you southern boys are true to the BCS but if you want to watch some REAL football where they actually determine a champion by the play off system then you should mark this on your calendars.
Friday night at 6pm Mountain Time in Chattanooga TN. the University of Montana Grizzlies will be taking on the Richmond Spiders in the FCS Title game. Since I am University of Montana Alumn I of course think that the Griz will crush the spiders. Any spider fans care to wager?
All of the action can be seen on ESPN2. Do yourself a favor and don’t miss out on it!
GO GRIZ!!!!

MemberI used to have a blast going up to Chattanooga for National Champioship games. That was back when Georgia Southern was good though. Got to the Griz play one year. You guys have some great fans.
I-AA settles it on the field though

I remember playing Georgia Southern for the National Championship. Adrean Peterson was unstoppable! What a tank!
Keith, bugs are a huge part of a Grizzlies diet. We will chew up the spiders and spit them out! 😮
Les, as all good Griz and Cat fans should do it is good to see you are one of them by rooting for your inner state rival. Do you still live in Montana Les?
GO GRIZ!!!

You guys kicked short and one my best buds caught the kickoff. I thought for sure he would fumble the ball and give it right back. He got to the sideline and only had one man to beat, only to get leveled by the kicker. That kicker layed the freaking wood to him. We still pick on him about it.
Of course the next play was to this guy. He was a man among boys in college

Joel ThompsonMemberFast Eddie I would like to forget about the loss to the Terriers last year. What a disappointment that was.
That is one of the cool things about this Montana team. No one expected them to be there. They are a true “TEAM”. There are no real stars. They each go out every week and play their hearts out. They are a lot of fun to watch and cheer for.

MemberI have a daughter who is a freshman at the University of Montana, so I have become a big Griz fan. As a lifelong Tennessee Volunteer the Montana team has helped take the sting out of a very disappointing Vol season. GO GRIZ!! Wish I could be in Chattanooga but work ( and snow) will keep me here in Kansas City. Friday night on ESPN at 7 CST.

MemberI grew up in Richmond and spent a fair bit of time as a kid at the Spiders games. I live just outside of Chattanooga now. I might try to go to the game although the weather may be bad. GO SPIDERS!!!

MemberGo Griz…
A little fact for you because of a little research when do a little work for Joel. The University of Montana was born in a mining town and the colors actually represent Silver, Copper and Gold. Not many colleges really have a reason for their school colors – University of Montana does. just a little info because I knew it.
