Wow, what a busy weekend. Drinking with old friends, partying at embassies with the wife, hanging out at lesbian chili cookoffs, and FISHING

Took a friend of a friend out to Virginia’s Mossy Creek.

I brought them a salami from the cheese shop where I work as a joke. More stories I can tell in person and not here some day 🙂

Just found out the stream was stocked with 5k browns last week. I’d rather fish for hold overs and natural reproducers which probably ate all of the fresh stockies.

I also almost caught a red squirell. The thing was 2x the size of the eastern gray squirell and let me get really close to it. I was only able to touch his front paw.

Those Mossy browns are ugly anyway.

It takes some time to learn to fish it, the BIG boys in there don’t rise for anything during the day and night fishing is illegal.
