David AndersonMemberA while ago I asked for feedback on the LL Bean Packlight fishing jackets and the response was good.
Since it was the only jacket I could find in a tall size I went ahead and ordered one and the other day it got it’s first outing in the rain, and man did it rain.
I was shooting a story on a new guiding set-up here on one of our bigger rivers with a large raft and had to wear it most of the day.
It’s very cool, very comfortable and very well made and as a bonus it fits brilliantly – no more tent sized XXL just to get the arms long enough for me.. 🙂
The only real negative things (minor points) I have to say are that it would be nice if it had an interior pocket and that the chest pockets are a little to low for really deep wading, mind you, most people would have drown before the contents of my pockets get wet.. 😉
It’s a great thing and thanks everyone for the feedback !

InactiveIs the boss reading this ?? Â
Seriously though…quite the benefit of having your wife check in to the site every so often. Â Its a bit more discreet than leaving hints around the house. Â Nice work Zach.

MemberI check in more than “every so often,” 😉 but that jacket’s not coming from me this year.  We’ve already taken care of Christmas for each other.  That said, I wonder if I posted hints for future gift giving opportunities, if Zach would read them and take the hint.  Hmm.  Worth trying in the future, I think… 😎

Steve K.MemberTo you young married folk……let me tell you….gift giving gets tougher each year. I’ve been married 25 years and have just about exhausted the list of “what does she need this year?”
Zach et al….in case you are not aware…..
Man Rule 432 subsection (b): Never purchase a gift for your wife that requires an electrical outlet.
Man Rule 432 subsection (d): If you have exhausted your list of “what to get her” you can always fall back on the old standby…..jewelry.
Merry Christmas ya’ll.
