Thanksgiving in Korea (and some fishing, too)

I am loving this series.  Keep up the great posts from Korea.  Love the pictures too – helps us to see what you are doing.

BTW, that is a nice looking reel in the second picture.  Who makes that?

Also, is it possible to send us the name or coordinates of the river you are fishing?

I do not know who made that reel, but I did notice the carbon side plate.  Sometimes communication is a little difficult.

As far as Google Earth goes, I think you’ll find none of the roads or river names show up.  Here are a few of the places I’ve been.  For those that speak Korean, I’m sorry if I butcher these names.

DongNamChon (37deg19’1.83″N, 128deg41’0.90″E) – This is where I caught the rainbow in the picture.

NaerInChon (37deg52’38.67″N, 128deg19’35.02″E) – Lenok stream

ImBukCheon (38deg11’44.78″N, 128deg19’45.28″E) – another Lenok stream with some rainbows

HuCheon (38deg04’27.55″N, 128deg37’38.08″E) – Chum Salmon run this river in the Fall

I hope none of you consider this hotspotting.  Not really a destination fishery anyway.
