Hello from Georgia

Hi guys! Thought I’d drop in and say hello. My buddy, Jason Blevins invited me over and I have been trolling for a few days before I joined up. Very informative posts. Some of you guys really know your stuff.

Anyway, I wanted to say hello.

 Where do you live in Georgia?

I live in Roswell. I also fish the DH…i love the Amicalola DH the best but I hit the Hooch since it is 5 minutes from my house. I fish Island Ford most of the time and I have been known to go upstate and beat up the Toccoa some. Dukes is also a favorite of mine and I have surprisingly good luck there. My favorite piggie locale is Frog Hollow. I’ve only fished it once but I dream about it everyday.

Honestly, I don’t hate GT…my dad graduated from there. He’s a boring old architect, sliderule and all. But I love dem Dawgs!

I have to be honest and I called this at the beginning of the season: The UGA vs GT game is gonna be a slobberknocker. That team scares me more than Florida did.

It’ll be a good one and I look forward to it.

For those of you not from Georgia, this is an example of Georgia Tech guilt speak, hahaha.

Having been raised in the midwest I would not have understood the need to justify schools (in Nebraska everyone is a Cornhusker fan and Tom Osborne is a God).  However, I married a Macon girl and a Dawg fan and the rest is history. Now I actually understand the need to either praise vs bash vs make excuses for the wreck.

Neil Kudos for you for marrying Southern Belle and a Bulldawg nonetheless…as far as I know it doesn’t get much better than than unless she fly fishes also~ ;D
