Since I’ve gotten some good freshwater advice on this site I thought I’d return the favor in case any of you are heading to the saltwater.

That is some great stuff Gregg! I am one of those people who have been burned on one of these trips because I did not ask all of the right questions. I will certainly refer back to these articles before planning my next trip!

I am about to go back and read the articles after I post this, but I have had 5 1/2 salt guides this year.  I think I was burned a couple of times, or was it three.  I wish I had something like your articles before I headed out for my trips.  I have had some that have worked their tails off for me and then I have had a few that have looked to me for advice, and did not work for me but milked my money.  I say a half because I told one guy were cutting it short after we had kayaked into a tropical storm and when I looked around he had one of his 3 rods in the water at all times.
Anyway thank you for the articles I am about to read.

Thank you for those informative articles! I wish I could copy them and email them to a couple of a holes I have booked.
I had one guy in SC make me pay him before I got on the boat, and I was pretty sure at that point my day was going to be crap and it was.
    Thanks again!
