I really enjoy using the Rio 24′ DC sink tip and SA Streamer Express 250 grain lines for streamer fishing in rivers. They handle and cast great and get down to the fish quick.
I am thinking about getting a SA Streamer Express line with a 30′ clear intermediate tip for fishing shallows on lakes and flats in rivers. I have heard it is a great line for throwing streamers into water 4′ or less. I am thinking it would be a great line for throwing streamers over weed beds as well.

    Any thoughts.

Gord, I have not used the Streamer Express Clear Tip, but have used the Stillwater version quite a bit. Great line for fishing streamers or wet flies in low water in the tailwaters during high sun. It still puts a shadow over the bottom, but with sized down tippet it doesn’t seem to alert the fish as much. I usually use about 4 feet of 6 pound test for a leader in really difficult conditions.

The one annoying thing about the line is it tends to get sticky, especially after you clean it with the abrasive pad the first time. Perhaps the streamer express version is different. I think once you clean it, you need to faithfully clean and re-lube with a silicon based lube.

Would be interested in your thoughts (or anyone elses) on the streamer express clear tip if you wind up getting one.
