    I have a friend looking to put a poling platform on his jon boat (typical duck hunting/fishing jon boat). He’s moving to New Orleans as we speak and is ready to get his boat ready for the saltwater.

    Anyone have any pictures or resources to point him to? We need some ideas from anyone who’s done it before.

    You could Google “poling platforms” there are a lot of people who make them.  Most run $650+ plus installation.

    Since he is moving to New Orleans, I recomment the cajun poling platform/tower.  You can get it at any hardware store, its cheap and you just have to tie it in securely.
