    Tim . . . is that an 8 or 10wt rod with that V2 reel?  Big setup nonetheless.  Did he hit the mouse pattern in open water or up on the bank?

    It’s an 8wt, but the reel is over-sized for the rod.

    Very cool Tim. Pretty soon we start fishing for smallies with hopper patterns down here, its cool to watch them rise up and sip the fly. Just like fishing for trout.
