Met up w/ an IA buddy and did a little fishing

I had a chance to meet up w/  KRKaloz (Kalvin) from the board and do a little fishing. We had a blast .. Regrettably I could only fish one night this week, but I think we had a pretty good kick-off to Kalvins week out here. Kalvin had not done much streamer fishing and wasnt quite sure what to expect. Well .. the streamer fishing was “on” and it was awesome to see him hook-up with some nice fish. I ended the evening with a couple of good fish, but Kalvin had the pattern that was producing stuck the big boys!

I think Kalvin will be coming back to Utah everyone in a while .. and I’m sure we have a few days on the river in our future.

Thanks Zach! It was cool to meet up with someone from the board and get into a few nice fish! I’m betting Kalvin will chime in sometime. Between fishing and work, I think he’s keeping pretty busy! I got an email that said he got a very pretty cutt to hand last night. 🙂

Wow, how do you thank a guy you meet for the first time ever after just a few emails that; shows you several spots along his favorite river, then takes you to his favorite stretch and expands your knowledge base to a whole new world of the sport? Oh… yea… I forgot to mention that he let me use his rod and gave me several flies to use for the evening. Then to top off an AWESOME evening he takes several pics and does his magic and by noon the next day you have an email of several great shots just to solidify the memory for years to come!

All I can say is Corey is ONE STAND UP GUY!!! Thanks man!!! You can count on me coming back and we will absolutely hook up again.
