On the blog, Wes and I keep, http://www.liveandletfly.com, part of the title reads “Fly Fishing Texas…and all that implies.”  We’ve had some friends ask lately why we don’t have many stories and pictures about fly fishing in Texas.  I guess my Josh Hamilton (minus the drugs and tattoos) addictive personality took over and I made another montage to let the good folks know we fly fish in Texas all the time…it’s our backyard!

    enjoy…

I put a picture, in another string here, of a 25+” Striper my four year old grandson caught in Lake Austin among a dozen other fish he and his brother, age 7, caught that evening that turned into night.

It was a lot of fun throwing this one together b/c it reminded that it is not too bad living in the lone star state.
