    Hey dudes –

I have been ironing out the details of putting some of this ad money to work for us.

Sounds good Zach. The speed on this site was the only thing aside from the hacks I’d wondered about. Glad to hear you found a solution to your site woes and I hope it goes smoothly.

DSL and Broadband hasn’t made it to the Hacienda yet….so I’m still stuck with the dial-up. Good luck doing whatever it is you computer geeks do.

When you start talking RAM and numbers of other sites using your server, those numbers kind of floored me. I had no idea. I could see some lag on the photoblog but I expected that and some of the photo heavy threads had some lag which is also normal. I only saw real lag when I was working wireless at home.

I guess I’m jaded when it comes to servers and computers and RAM and all the geek speak. Basically with graphics, RAM is the name of the game and I have 4g on my MBP and 16g on my PRO . Our server at the office is a monster with 700tb of space and 32 gig of RAM.

I am out of the loop on the web hosting game – web needs in general. I need to research that a little before jumping into that part of the game.

Thanks Zach for keeping it speedy.

Maybe I will do the swap this week after all.
