Hello. I have a friend that moved to Riverside, CA last summer and is finally settling in. He was wondering what fly shops and waters he needed to be looking at. Please PM me if you have any information that I can pass on.

Also, in Kernville (a few hours north) is a great little shop owned by a friend of mine. It’s called The Kern River Fly Shop and is also home to Kernriver Troutfitters Guide Service. http://www.kernriverflyfishing.com
The Kern shop also hosts a flyfishing forum which is a great source of info for the entire area. I actually post there daily. It’s a pretty good online community, and members do
