Line and reel for Scott G2

I have a new Scott G2 9′ 5 weight and would like to hear recommendations about a good floating line and reel.

Lines: I am thinking the SA Trout would work well.

Reels: Rod seems slightly tip heavy so maybe a slightly heavier reel?

I’ve got the 8’8 5wt and have an SA Trout line on it, I think its perfect. I love the small loop on the end of the line, and its extremely slick.
I’ve got a ross rythym reel on my rod and don’t have any complaints about balance.

I’m using the SA Wf 5wt line.

I’m currently using a Ross Rythm reel.

Nice outfit for my fishing.

Chris Zando…maybe go “Old School” on it with an old J. W. Young reel.

Lots of suggestions would work. At 9′ I wouldn’t go too small to balance.
We rigged up the boss’s G2 with the Evolution 2 in Copper, looks pretty trick

Had quite a few copy it. Sets off the rod wraps without being too flashy.
