MemberOur first gathering was a hoot. We had pleny of the real Mountain Dew to keep us warm when the temps took a dip. Next time maybe we’ll invite the IA crowd as well. There’s plenty of room.
Night one of the gathering. Steaks on the fire!

Chad SimcoxMemberDon’t let Ron play with the fire, someone’s likely to loose an eye.
I used to fish at Happy Hollow quite a bit. I loved fishing that stretch of the river, though it was usually predictable as far as where to catch fish and what to use. I think at one point I had Eat At Chucks filling up half my fly box.
Looks like a fun trip.

Membersolid report, looks like good times
for some reason whenever I think of Mike the first thing that I picture are those mirrored sunglasses. Any man with a grill on his boat is fine in my book.

MemberThanks guys!
Carter those glasses are old Costas back when they made the indestructible ones. I liked em so much I got two pair.
Zach we might just do that this summer after they cut the first cut of hay off the 20 acre field. We had a 12 volt Skeet machine and shotguns on site but never brought em out due to rainy weather. Jarrod already said he’d like to do it again soon and the more the merrier. The land borders Caney with 700+ ft of frontage and good wading spots if we get low water. He plans to have electric and water and gravel out there soon. Without gravel you’ll need 4WD if it rains!
