Well I got my trip booked for Chile next year for my spring break. I will be fishing around the Coyhaique area and staying at Estancia del Zorro. I know that we have some well traveled members here and was wondering if anyone has been down to Chile in March. I know that its over a year away but I like to be well prepared. I was wondering what type of fishing is done that time of year, and also if anyone has experience with the salmon that are down there? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Tim,
I thought I might as well treat myself to an early graduation present. It was a trip to Chile or a rod from Sweetgrass, I couldn’t pass up Chile I’ve been wanting to head there for some time now.
I’ve heard that it is pretty windy down there. Not too much of a concern to me, I’ve been in some nasty wind before and been fine. Just another factor that adds to the excitement and experience.
