Just wondering if anyone has read “Fumbling With A Flyrod” by Ian James or more to the point why would it be selling for over $100 on amazon.

Although I cannot comment on the contents of the book, it does get very high reviews, made it to #8 on the Canadian bestseller list and had a very low initial printing in 2000.
The original pricing was:
Hardcover Limited Edition: $55.00 Canadian. (150 copies)
Hardcover: $27.00 Canadian.

Did you know that used “Fumblings” are selling for $228 online at Amazon, and that last year one of the limited editions was sold for $870 in a private deal. I had to verify that the book was one of the limited editions. It was purchased by a book collector in Michigan. The book was in mint condition. It was nice to see it again after 7 years. Don’t ask. I do not have any “Fumblings” left in stock.”A search on abebooks.com also reveal copies selling in the $100 range.
