Nice post! Cool to see some activity in this forum.
I too find that whenever I sit down to write, fishing always manages to be at the forefront of my thoughts. Maybe not such a bad thing, if you can articulate it as eloquently as a Wulff or Geirach. That said, I think those of us who share the passion enjoy hearing others views on their pursuits and what it means to them. I do think we all have storied lives, but it’s the artists who tell their stories in a such way that makes us want to hear more that we come to admire.
