Hey guys –
In light of Joel’s arts and crafts post, I thought I would send this out there.
I have a goofy appreciation for those trout mailboxes, and I’ve wanted to make my box into a big male brown for some time.
Good morning Zach. Duane Hada at Rivertown Gallery in Cotter is doing some metal art. He did all the trout silhouettes that Cotter has hanging on its lightpoles downtown.

I saw one of these while driving in ME and almost crashed the car.
Zach…a few years ago I had the idea of painting our plain black mail box in trout colors or with a trout on each side of it…but quickly realized that surely would have been time spent only to have some drunk redneck on our dirt road to use it as batting practice.
Cameron, an old friend of mine’s dad was singled out by some losers who constantly smashed his mailbox up (everytime he put a new one up it was down in 3 days, max).

Ah man…you had me thinking you already had it installed.
I will keep looking for the photos of final implementation. 🙂
