MemberHi All,
I just realized there are a lot of nice photos and photographers here. A very nice board!
I would like to introduce myself and participate more in this bullitin. I live in Auburn AL. I fish for bass and bluegill. Regularily I drove up to the N.GA area for trout fishing. Also, I did several trips to the West. I study birds. so birding, FF and taking pictures are the center of my hobbies. I just got back from a trip to the west. Attached several pictures for your reference. Sincerely,Mark

Joel ThompsonMemberWelcome to the board Yuhina! I think you are going to like being a part of it. There a lot of great people here that go out of their way to answer your questions.
Great photos by the way. I really like the black and white with the Tetons in the background. Good stuff!

Thanks a lot for the nice words!
It is so nice to have a place that I can combine two of my passions! I really appreciate all the useful information in this great site. Already learned a lot from touring around in last couple days… ;D
Cameron, What a great surprise to see you here…thanks! 🙂Mark

David AndersonMemberHi Mark,
Lovely shots, I too love the black & whites, they give the shot a classy air..
Hate to be nostalgic, but they bring back memories.
I did a few trips from Illinois to Wyoming as a kid with my father & his merry band of geology students, one of the other proffesors taught me to trout fish in the Wind river area – a nice place to learn.
Please post some Bluegill shots of you have some so I can re-live more of my youth.. 😉 🙂

A picture is thousand words that takes less than a second while a thousand words is a picture that takes a month.

MemberHi David,
I really LOVE your photo style from your website! Usually I would say “professional level” to my friends if I like their pictures… but I have to use another term for a real professional! “Outstanding among the professionals ” your shots have a very CLEAN style. I really love that… models or FF photos…  🙂
I have to agree gill fishing could be very additive too… 😉 Fortunately, down here in the dirty south AL., we have  streams full with these little guys in different species and their forgiveness to take flies…
see attached photos… 🙂

MemberThanks for the nice comments!
The last one photo was taken in the Toton National Park, WY. It was a very nice mountain creek. Many cutthroat and brookie …Although I did not see any moose in this trip…, my friends did see some :P. Â The last second photo was taken in the Flat Creek, WY. Â

MemberI understand that! Â :-[ Â
Me and my brother always hike far to get rid of the crowds…
We call it “the secret spots in a popular river”
I did not grow up from Provo… but my brother does… he always told me how the fishing went before the dam…  well… The good thing is the fish there get smarter and still grow healthier… 😉
I would love to see some of your pictures from the provo though  🙂
Sincerely,Mark
