    Hey guys –

Has anyone experimented with one of these units?

Incidentally, here is the Cabelas “baseline” I am considering –

The more advanced models primarily add stuff I won’t use, like weather radio functionality, although the next one up gets an SD card slot for switching in and out more maps.

    Zack,

The only thing to note here is that you need an FCC license to use a radio in the GRMS band (most of these radios are – that is what gives you the added range).

    Thanks Rich.

I have used a Rhino 120 as my primary GPS for a few months now and it gets the job done, but I do wish it were a little smaller. I don’t really every use the radio feature but if I had more regular fishing partners it may be more handy.

I don’t have the combo units yet, but have considered getting one.
