    Hi Fellas,

Does anyone here have LL Bean rain gear ?

I’m thinking of getting one of their lightweight packable wading jackets as they seem to be the only ones on the market that come in a ‘Tall’ size..

Is the stuff any good ?

Any others you know of that cater for Lurch ?
(I have an XL Patagonia SST that’s good, but the sleeves are a bit short )

    Thanks,
    David.

I also own the Stowaway Wading Jacket. I wore it virtually non-stop in AK last summer. Rained everyday and I was dry as a bone. We were float fishing so no strenuous activities….so I can’t vouch for breathability.

I have no complaints and would purchase another if needed.

I’ve had the stowaway for several years…it is a really great jacket.  Easy to pack and carry, but will really stand up to a storm.  Last fall I spent a cold, windy, rainy day on a boat on the Big Horn, and the coat kept me nice and dry.

Thanks for the feedback guys, that’s enough for me – I’ll order one.

It’s nie to be thinking about new rain jacket afte a few dry few summers in Australia, even the alpine creeks were looking thin by the end of last season.
So far this winter/spring there’s been a lot of rain and good snow in the mountains so fingers crossed we might have a season with good water levels.

    That’s exactly right Simon.

I need it for November in UnZud.

Hopefuly it won’t be needed, but if it does rain I want to have a good jacket with sleeves that go all the way to my hands.

    Looking forward to meeting you..
