Quite a departure for Winston. I’m looking forward to casting/fishing the BIIT but I’m not sure the MX is for me. But then again, maximum casting distance would be lost on me.*G* I’ll be interested in seeing your review.

For Pete’s sake, they forgot to add Maximum Price.

I don’t know Mike. I am a huge fan of the BIIX and the BIIT and I have sold a ton of them this summer. I will be very interested in the MX. Hard to believe that they can improve on the others but I am sure that Zach will shoot us all straight when he test drives that bad boy!

I have two BIIx’s and have not for one second had any buyers remorse.

    Joel,
how do you like the BIIT ? I may be looking in that direction instead of trying to find a T&T paradigm.

    BIIt is a fishing rod.

I think this is a great strategic move by Winston. I like the BIIX’s but I think they do not have the gas of some other rods out there like the Z Axis particularly in the 6 weight on up. I have the BIIX 6 and it is super smooth but is not a great distance or streamer rod. So now it sems like Winston may have slow, medium and fast rod actions in the BIIX series.

Well said on the BIIt Zach. I have been selling a lot of them for fishing are creek that runs through the property here on the ranch. It has a much slow action to it then the BIIx and a really nice feel to it. For Medium to Short casts you can put a cast down on the water as light as a feather.

okokok, now another item to add to the wife’s xmas list for me.  I love my BIIx 6wt, its by far the best that I have cast.  The Zero G from Orvis was close, but couldn’t quite hang in the wind that I suffer through where I live. And the MX sounds like it would fit right in on a typical day at Pyramid Lake throwing a 400 grain shooting head through a 25 mph wind.   Ahhhhhh….the FUN of it all….
