Hey boys –
I’ve never been bonefishing before, so my expectations today were tempered by a healthy dose of realism.
Gollly Gosh Zach- sounds rough- I mean what were those sharks thinking!!!. Tough it out dude!!!
Hmmms – we may have to pitch in as board regulars and splurg for an apres fishing Martini Chiller and tie up some Half and Half Bonefish
Watch out, mon; that fishing can be addictive. Sorry we couldn’t get together, especially after reading your report.

Your perceptions regarding bonefishing in the Bahamas pretty much mirror my own with one exception.Hi again Zach,
I think it is pretty unusual to see that many huge schools of bonefish rather than singles, doubles, or much smaller groups. Casting to large singles is more the norm than the exception for me.
If I am using a guide, they are strictly Bahamians. You might let me know who the individual you got on the third day, (he would be an oddity that I would like to avoid.) For most Bahamian guides this is their business and much of it is based on repeat ‘clients’ and word of mouth.
