Hi All!
I got to attend the fly fishing film tour last night here in Missoula. I thought it was worth the twelve bucks I had to dish out to watch it. The guys from the Trout Bum diaries were there putting the show on so you got to see a lot of their stuff which was cool. My favorite part of the film though was these guys that were fishing for Rooster fish down in Baha! Very, Very entertaining!!
They also had a 30 minute intermission half way through the show. Nice to get up and stretch the legs and during that time they had a drawing for about 30 different items. Pretty cool.
Anyhow, my overall opinion was I would see it again. Of course I have the fishing bug pretty bad right now and if you take a look at the picture I’ve attached it doesn’t look like I will be fishing anytime soon. 🙁

Hey Cameron! No they did not have vol. II for sale only vol. I. Infact the guy who was the M.C. said that they were still doing the finishing touches on vol II and hoped to have it out soon. My guess is that your copy has not been sent yet. We did get to see a little bit from vol II last night and I think it will be worth the wait. Remember this line “God save the queen”. It will make a lot more since to you once you watch the film. 😉

Yeah know Moosedog…I respect the video work that these fellows do…but from a business sense…you have to wonder what these fellows are thinking.
A guide I had in New Zealand filled me in on the “God Save the Queen” line… of course I broke off about 10 fish before I actually figured it out.
Quick Question.
Were the films the same that were hosted over on the drake’s site (http://www.drakemag.com/pages/film_2006.shtml)?
