$20.00 Heddon Pal…

Well…it was in the mid 70’s here today, the dog needed to go swimming, and I still hadn’t cast the $20 Heddon Pal that I picked up on ebay a few months ago. So we went down to the family pond and I flexed the rod for a few minutes on the dock with fly line only. I don’t think that this rod is going to blow my mind to fish…but for $20 it was still a good deal. It will make a good largemouth bass rod…and might even work for stripers on Lake Murray or the Saluda River.
I messed around with my wife’s point and shoot camera and came up with these photographs…though I tweaked them in Picasa a bit. I’ll say it again…this free download Picasa is a pretty amazing program.
