Anybody use these Ridge lines? I was reading about them and the design is intriguing, apparently the lines have Ridhes along the edge to reduce friction greater than a normal line. Genius or gimmic?

    Hey Ausable –

I’m inclined to call it a very incremental improvement.

Almost all flies lines will have some memory, line twist is something that will also happen.

Most of these problems are the result of stored line and casting style, particularly when shorter length of line is continually used.

In the case of some lines of a certain brand, they would always retain a memory, that due to the nature of the core and manufacturing process.
    They are worthless.
