MemberSanta was very, very good to me also…
6 pairs of heavy wool socks
Wind stopper fleece jacket
Sage wind stopper fleece fold over mitts
Sage small back pack
Small Kodak camera for my vest. I love this…about the size of a deck of cards, takes great pictures and very simple to use. I now need to come up with a waterproof case.
Cameron, I got the Benchside Reference a few years ago for my B-day and use it all the time. I treasure and protect it like gold…no bathroom magazine rack for that one 🙂 Enjoy
Steve

MemberBilly B,
Are you ever right about the good fortune of having such generous family and friends. I just hope the people I love think the same of me.
I received a St. Croix surf rod–big honkin’ stick–10’6″ 9 wt
Battery for a camera I had traded for (with John Pavoncello from the board) back in the Fall
Domke Bag for the camera and few lenses I have
Gift certificate to a local shop
Smart Wool running and hiking socks
Fun stocking stuffer thingsI didn’t chime in on the Merry Christmas thread, but I do hope that each and every one of you had a very Merry Christmas. It is a pleasure sharing information and ideas with each of you. Still, one of the coolest things about the internet is the amalgam of personalities it unites thanks to some common thread–like fly fishing.
Sincerely,
Bryan
By the way, cool new sled, Mike.

MemberMike,
That’s a river boat. Very nice. Been thinking about getting something this year I could take on the river and the lake I may be living on soon. Looks like a badarse sled. Congrats man.

MemberThanks I’m loving it right now man. I really have nothing but great things to say about Supreme boats so far. It’ll float fully loaded with three people in it, in 2″, and run in anything over 3″. That doesn’t do you much good when there’s waders everywhere but I fish alot of places where that isn’t a big problem. We hit a gravel bar for the first time last Sat. The boat never stopped, it just slid past it. We went back to see how deep it was and the water wasn’t even over the top of my wading boots. No damage whatsoever to anything on the boat or motor except a little paint missing off the intake grate.
There might be alot of people who’ll try to convince you not to buy a jet because of all the negative characteristics. If you plan to operate a boat in water less then 8″ alot…..Don’t listen to them. I ran props motors for a long time and I’ll tell you this, you can have em.

The Itinerant AnglerSo, Mike, is that Supreme what you’d call a jet sled?
