Well…after gushing on and on about how perfect the J. W. Young Beaudex would be for the Scott “F”…I came across a J. W. Young Pridex that just seemed to be the “perfect” reel for the “F”.  The funky green color of the reel is the same color as the writing on the blank of the rod…and being the gear freak I am…I just had to have it.  The reel isn’t mint…but refurbed a bit.  I’m looking forward to using it soon.

I’ll say it again…the J. W. Young reels are rock solid and I can see a few more in making it into the collection.

That’s a sweet setup there, Cameron.

The detail I like about the few Young’s I’ve handled is the triangulated handle. The fingertips just naturally fit.

It’s 0430…the vehicle is loaded up…the coffee cup is full…and I am heading somewhere in N.C.
