Tuesday Escape…Photo Essay…

Well…I was able to escape to the mountains of N.C. for a day of fly fishing with a couple of friends. I used the three weight Scott “F” in the morning and the Heddon Pal five weight all afternoon. I was able to give the green Condex and the Brodin landing net quite a workout. What a great net. I didn’t have a single net tangle all day.
Fly of the day…thread or crystal flash midges…size 22-24’s…various colors.
First trout to grace the new Brodin net.
Next planned trip…Monday after Thanksgiving. I’ll be back to the vise soon to replenish the midge boxes.
