    Well…an unexpected family issue is sending up to Michigan a week earlier than expected to start our vacation…which will now give me two long weeks up in Michigan instead of just one.

    I am planning on hitting the late evening mayfly and caddis hatches on the Muskegan River which is just a forty-five minute drive or so from the lake house at Crystal.

    I’m not sure which crystal your talking about, and when exactly you’re gonna be in town, but the Pere Marquette is about 45 min. north of the muskegon, and it is great.
