Ice fishing

I am seriously considering getting a couple of ice fishing rods. I have a few old spinning reels laying around somewhere to put on them. What else would I need? A few jigs and some minnows? I would obviously need an auger of some sort.
Looking for some direction from someone here as to how to go about this with the minimum expenditure and maximum fun. Walleye and Yellow perch would be the main targets, with a once in awhile pike tossed in.
I know it’s not fly fishing related…It’s about all I am going to have for several months to come.
