We once saw a performance of Hamlet in London by the Royal Shakespeare Company. Unlike most modern Shakespearean productions, the RSC decided to play this one straight, and when Hamlet gave his famous soliloquoy, he got right out front and center and just gave it. The Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone is like that – it needs no apologies or photo tricks. Awe and wonder. Fear and trembling. God has good days too.
