Phil Monahan, editor of American Angler magazine and all around good guy, gives us an inside look at the publishing side of flyfishing, as well as relates a few stories from his guiding days in Yellowstone and Alaska.

This week the Angler's Log takes us all the way down to three degrees off the equator at the Xingu River in the jungles of Brazil. I hope you enjoy the podcast and get as big a kick out of the petty depravities of travel as I did.

Special thanks to Old Crow Medicine Show for their permission to use "Gospel Plow" in The Itinerant Angler Podcast. For more excellent modern bluegrass music, visit www.crowmedicine.com.
