Bear Identification
07/15/10 at 10:47pm

I found this fellow in wandering through a meadow in northwest Yellowstone Park last week. At first I thought it might be a grizzly, but after getting it home and zooming in, I'm declaring it a large, cinnamon black bear. Do you bear experts agree?

I'm not a biologist, but based on the size and shape of the ears, I'd say black bear.
