Looking for a website to identify flies

hey fellas/ladies,
wondering if anyone knows a good resource to help identify flies...
for example, i wasn't sure what a PMD was...( i do now).
it would be nice to have a resource to look em up somehow!

flies as in what we throw to the fish or the actual insect that we are trying to represent with the thing we throw to the fish


to identify the actual fly thrown- look at fly fishing catalogs
to identify the insect - look at the above mentioned website
